Saffron
Saffron
Saffron is a spice obtained from the dried stigmas of the Crocus sativus flower. It is characterized by its bitter taste and by giving the food a golden yellow color, thanks to its dye, being used for the preparation of paellas, rice dishes, meats and seafood.
In addition, it has numerous benefits associated with its digestive, hepatoprotective, antioxidant and neuroprotective properties (cholesterol, blood circulation, liver, visual health, memory improvement and menstrual pain relief).
