Safflower Petals

Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) is an annual herbaceous plant grown in areas with relatively warm temperatures and low humidity. The seeds of this plant are used to produce vegetable oils. Its dried petals have numerous medicinal virtues.

Safflower can be an excellent infusion that has a mild sedative effect with many properties. In culinary, we can use it as a colorant or decorative element. It is also used as a natural source of colorant in the dyeing process.
